SilverfishSilverfish are a small, wingless insect typically measuring from 12mm to 25mm. The name derives from the animal's silvery blue colour, combined with the fish-like apperance of its movements.
The silverfish is a widespread commensal in human dwellings. Silverfish can often be found under refrigerators, beds, or around a well-heated toilet. It is also common to find them near the crevices of thr wood that has been bonded with starch glue, expecially where the wall and floor meet. They are quite shy and most of them come out at night, when there isn't much human activity nearby.
